      The content in cholesterol, the rate (30-40 mg/100 g) is even lower than the lean meats like chicken or turkey. The content of oleic acid facilitates the production of HDL ("good cholesterol") in the body, while reducing LDL ("bad cholesterol").

      LDL: low-density lipids: We could call "bad cholesterol", when it lost the density is as whether "dirty blood" with a lot of waste particles in suspension, which may leave sticking to artery walls. Reduce levels of LDL decrease the risk of heart disease.

      LDL particles get fat on the liver and it is deposited on the walls of blood vessels in deposits denominated plates. The plates contain large amounts of fat, may become detached and cause a blockage of blood (thrombosis) that according where it located they can lead to heart attack or stroke.
